As the founder and creative force behind CMG, I translate a lifelong passion for fragrance, nature and comfort into a collection of hand-poured, bespoke home fragrance products.

The Spark of Inspiration

The journey began in Lockdown 2021 in our garage, kitchen and I eventually also took over the dining room. This is where I first experimented with sewing fabric items such as pencil cases, face masks, keyfob wristlets, toy tidy drawstring bags and more. I tan tried Resin and Jesmonite, making unique Resin and Jesmonite items such as coasters, bears, jewellery trays and more. This passion than migrated over to melting wax and blending high quality fragrance oils. It wasn't just about making a product; it was about recreating a specific feeling—the scent to melt away into a dream of a cosy winter evening by a fireplace with a hot chocolate and the cat on my lap. This early fascination evolved into a deep respect for the transformative power of scent, leading to years of self-taught experimentation, blending and refinement.

The Philosophy: Craftsmanship and Consciousness

My philosophy is rooted in quality, sustainability and the simple luxury of a well-scented space. I believe that the objects we surround ourselves with should be both beautiful and responsibly made. This commitment is evident in every choice made:

Premium Ingredients: Utilising all-natural sustainably sourced soy wax, clean-burning wicks, phthalate-free fragrance oils.

Small-Batch Production: Every candle and wax melt is hand-poured in small batches, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and a consistent, high-quality experience.

Mindful Design: Focusing on minimalist design, reusable vessels, eco-friendly packaging and aligning the products with a conscious lifestyle.

The Creative Process:

For me, the process is a ritual. It begins with "scent sketching," where unique fragrance profiles are chosen to evoke specific moods—from the crisp energy of "Morning Dew" to the comforting embrace of "Fireside Evening."

Once a scent is paired to a mood, it is carefully blended with the wax and wicked by hand, a meditative practice that ensures each item is infused with personal care and expertise.
